Fenugreek with Urith Lentil//Meethi aur daal is a recipe which is combination of vegetable & lentil.This dish is usually made in winter season in subcontinent and give amazing delicious taste with desi ghee or butter.In this recipe the Urid lentil is cooked with feenugreek & green chilli and coriander. Fenugreek increase its flavour more.The basic spice red chilli,turmeric,salt are used in it.

- Fenugreek -1 bunch
- Urid lentil(boiled) - 1 cup
- Green Coriander as per required
- Tomato - 1
- Green onion(chopped) -2
- Green chillies -4
- Cooking Oil - 1 cup
- Red chilli flakes -1 tbsp
- Salt -1 tbsp
- Turmeric -1 tsp
- Garlic -1 tbsp

How to cook;
- Heat cooking Oil,add green onion white stalk.
- Fry green onion white stalk until it get soft.
- Then add garlic paste and fry it for few minutes.
- Add chopped tomato,fry it for few minutes until it get soft.
- Now add all spices(red chilli flakes, turmeric, salt).
- Now cook them all together on medium flame.
- Fry all spices until raw smell goes away.
- Add green onion green stalk, green chilli & coriander.fry them for few minutes.
- Then add chopped Fenugreek and mix it with all spices on medium flame.
- When Fenugreek get soft, add 1/2 cup water and cook for 5 minutes.
- After 5 minutes add boiled Urid lentil in it and mix well.
- Then add 3/4 cup of water and cover it to cook for 5 minute more.
- When lentil is ready,serve it with chapati/roti
