Kababs are actually minced meat cooked dishes.The very famous Kabab in subcontinent are shami kabab which are made with beef minced meat & chana daal//chickpea lentil.These Kabab give amazing taste with Yakhni Pulao & green Yogurt raita.But now a days various variety of kabab are included in subcontinent & Pakistani Cuisine.These kabab are prepared by Chicken or beaf meat,different vegetable and combination of meat & vegetable.


Here is another delicious recipe of kabab which is made by mixing of shredded boiled chicken/minced meat with boiled Potatoes and green vegetables such as green coriander,mint,green chilli etc.This is easy quick & economical kabab recipe which is served as snacks or used in sandwich & burger

Ingredients;

  1. Chicken (boiled & shreded) 500 gm
  2. (boiled chicken with 3 garlic cloves & small piece of ginger in 1&1/2 cup water)
  3. Onion (medium size chopped) 1
  4. Green coriander (chopped) 4 tbsp
  5. Mint (chopped) 2 tbsp
  6. Green chilli (chopped) 5-6
  7. 1 Lemon juice
  8. turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
  9. red chilli powder 1 tbsp
  10. coriander powder (roasted) 1 tsp
  11. cumin powder (roasted) 1 tsp
  12. garam masala 1 tsp
  13. Salt 1 tsp
  14. Potatoes (medium size boiled) 3

How to prepare recipe;

  • Heat 2 tbsp oil in the frying pan.
  • Add shredded boiled chicken & fry slightly on low flame.
  • Then add all dried spices(chilli,turmeric,cumin,coriander powder & garam masala) one by one in the chicken.
  • Mix all dried masalas with chicken well and slightly fry them on low flame.
  • When chicken mixture is ready,then keep it aside to cool.
  • When chicken mixture get cool,add further ingredients in it.
  • First add boiled & mashed potatoes in the chicken.
  • then add Lemon juice & chopped onion.
  • In the last add  chopped green coriander,mint,green chilli & mix with chicken.
  • At this stage further salt & red or green chilli can be added if required.
  • Now the mixture is ready,now form the kabab in any shape.
  • Keep these Kabab in the freezer for 1 hour before frying.

How to frying kabab;

  1. Heat the cooking oil in the frying pan.
  2. Dip the kabab the in the beaten egg one by one.
  3. And deep fry these kabab on medium heat.
  4. Flip & fry each side of kabab well on medium heat.
  5. Now Kabab are ready, serve them with green yogurt chutni.
